Beau Biron
A 30-year veteran in the field of gymnastics, swimming, diving, water ski instruction and summer camps, Beau has a positive teaching philosophy, noting every child is a winner. In his career, Beau has served as a State USA Gymnastics board member, president of the Gymnastics Association of Texas (GAT), president of the Texas Coaches Association, PDP Level II ASEP Coaching Principles instructor, life member of Gymnastics Assoc. of Texas, and currently serves as advisory board member to GAT. Beau has provided consulting services in the areas of gymnastics, business systems and summer day camp operations for clubs around the country. He also co-owns a stand alone day camp company serving ~4,000 children.

Jodie Trncak
Ms. Jodie has been coaching gymnastics for 33 years and with Biron Gymnastics 20+ years. She has been an elite level coach garnering many artistic gymnastic competition titles. She is currently the head coach and choreographer for the Biron Gymnastics Show Team. Since its conception Ms. Jodie has lead the Show Team to several National TeamGym titles and is recognized as an international level choreographer. She serves as a Texas State Director for GAT, is a board member and a State Clinician. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching and Minor in Art and Dance. Certifications: USAG Professional Member, USAG rated judge, USAG Safety Certified and Dance Olympus Certified Teacher.

Cheryl Cupples
Coach Cheryl has been with Biron Gymnastics since 1993 and has coached all levels of gymnastics for 15 years. She currently serves as the manager for Biron Gymnastics Inc. and is the Director of the Kinderstar, Superstar, Goldstar and Compulsory programs. Cheryl is also the assistant coach for the internationally ranked Biron Gymnastics Show Team. For the past two years, Cheryl has severed as a clinician for the Gymnastics Association of Texas State Convention. She has her teaching degree from Houston Baptist University. Certifications: First/Aid CPR, KAT, USAG Pro Member, Safety Certified and TeamGym Judge.

Rob Maiorana
Rob has been with Biron Gymnastics for 10 years. He is the Site Director of our Summer Day Camps. He also teaches School Age classes, the internationally ranked Show Team, the Gold Stars and the Advanced Boys. Rob is a Reading Interventionist for the Alief Independent School District. He also coaches the National Champion Cheer Squad at Stratford High School. Rob also spends many weekends serving as a cheerleading Head Judge and choreographer. Certifications: ITP 1, ITP Boys and First Aid/CPR.

Chon Smith
Coach Chon has been with Biron Gymnastics since 2004, she currently coaches all advanced level gymnastics including Gold Stars, Compulsories and Show Team. Chon is a full-time early childhood physical education teacher and also works as a cheerleading judge and choreographer. Certifications: First Aid/CPR

Dawn Howard
Coach Dawn has been with Biron Gymnastics for 10 years. She currently is the Boys team director and TeamGymn head coach. Dawn also works with the Show Team and directs one of the school age performance classes. She works full-time as a physical education teacher at Chambers Elementary in Alief ISD. Certifications: First Aid/CPR, USAG Safety Certification and Instructor Member.

April Sawyer
Coach April has been teaching at Biron Gymnastics for 21 year. She currently serves as the Director for the Preschool and School Age Programs, and coaches many of the advanced level gymnastics classes. Coach April has authored the "Minds in Motion", a research based program designed to educate parents on the connection between gross motor development and brain development in young children. Each year April speaks at different community groups for mothers of young children. She has also developed the curriculum and directs the Homeschool P.E. and Special Needs programs. Certifications: KAT, and First Aid/CPR.

Toby Whitman
Toby has been with Biron Gymnastics for 10 years. He is the Director of Camp Friday (evening babysitting program) and the Camp Tunzateens summer program. He also teaches many preschool classes and runs birthday parties year round. Toby is currently a full time student at HCC. Certifications: KAT, First Aid/CPR

Wayne Power
Coach Power has been with Biron Gymnastics since 1976. He has coached every level and ability in the past thirty years. He has also worked many summer camps holding different positions. Coach Power currently teaches in the school age program. Also for the past 30 year he has been the physical education coach for Wolfe Elementary in Katy ISD. Certifications: First Aid/CPR

Coach Ron started with Biron's in 1981. He has coached all level of gymnastics and currently coaches in the school age program. Ron works full-time as a physical education teacher at Petrosky Elementary in Alief ISD. Certifications: First Aid/CPR.
